I get a little scared walking around my campus at night, too. I'm taking Drawing II right now so sometimes I stay in the studio into the AM hours. If my boyfriend happens to be awake I get him to walk me back to my dorm but most of the time I'm by myself. Luckily the campus is pretty safe overall, I've never gotten harassed. I still get nervous walking by myself though. Luckily the ruler I use is 2 feet long and 2 inches wide and made of sturdy metal (this thing could kill a zombie lololol) so I feel a bit safer when I hold it like a sword. XD One time I saw a yardstick version of it but it was like 15 bucks so I didn't get it.

Hi, I've been reading this and I'm enjoying it. I've been living in NYC for the past 4 years, studying Cartooning in SVA. I'm actually graduating in 4 days.

U mentioned in this page how you wondered being awake in this city 4 in the morning. For me, when I'm up late working on my art or just on my laptop, theres a freedom in the lonliness. I feel I can be myself without the pressure of society, which is always there especially in a busy city, yet at the same time I don't feel truly alone 'cause I know that in the city that never sleeps there are people just like me enjoying the relative peace and quiet of the "sleeping" city at night.

Anyway, this comic is fun to read, and is nostalgic and relevant to my own worries about graduating and real life responsibilities. I'll keep reading, hope you're doing well in life
